Jayy Jaramillo Gomez
Steadicam/ Ωmega AR-2 Operator

Jay has been focused in the world of cameras since Sixth Form in 2014. He has since completed a GBCT Steadicam course with operators; Fabrizio Sciarra (SOC/ ACO), Max Rijavec (ACO) and Julian Morson (ACO) in 2016. 

​

Having studied film production and Steadicam in university and learning the ins and outs of the camera department in rental and on set as a camera assistant, he made the decision to become a freelancer in 2020.

 

As a result, Jay has experience working with analogue (both 16mm and 35mm) and digital on music promos, high-end commercial content, fashion and short/ long form narrative projects.

With his perfectionist trait, Jay's organisation and punctuality demonstrates the passion he has for his work, and will always strive for the best when designing, choreographing and executing shots, insuring that his clients are always beyond happy before moving on.

He also likes trains!
